Many HUSBAY members have indicated a wish for a group which focuses upon individual choice in the moment of their death. Consequently, a new HUSBAY SIG will be focus upon what’s happening in the US and the World concerning Death with Dignity.
The End of Life group met at the Gulfgate Library on Saturday, Feb 28, 2015. No new meetings are scheduled at this time. For more information, click here.Comments from Judy Wysnewski:
3. Present methods that desperate people try are sometimes not effective and can leave one in a worse state than the one that drove them to try. Sure method(s) of attaining the goal should be made available to all interested.
Comments by Barry Zack:
The world appears to be divided as far as their end-of-life policies are concerned. It makes for very difficult decisions for physicians who wish to do the right thing, but are hampered by confusing rules and laws.
